What does it do?[]

This bill amends existing statute on zoning laws in consolidated local governments to clarify that cities within counties that contain a consolidated local government have the authority to enact ordinances, regulations, and procedures (so long as they do not conflict with the use of property permitted by the overall plan) regarding nuisance abatement, business licensing, building permit processes, code enforcement measures, and other local powers that further a public purpose and do not conflict with a constitutional provision or law.
